As the Government guidelines have more twist and turns in it than the Big Dipper, we are doing our best to keep with the guidelines and with a potential second wave on the horizon (fingers crossed there isn’t!), we want to keep you informed about any restrictions, rules, policies and changes that occur.
From the 18th September, we are required to take details of everyone who enters the salon. The majority of you will not be affected by this change as we have your contact details on our system already, however if a second person comes to your appointment i.e. carers etc who are not a part of the same household, we will need to take their details.
From the 24th September, the “world beating” government Test & Trace app is launching. We have our own unique QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone. This will of course track that you have been in the salon. The QR codes will be at every section. It is not a legal requirement for you to use the QR code, however the government are strongly advising businesses to encourage anyone who enters the salon to use it.
Who wants a tea!?! Yesss, we can now offer you beverages! This is a welcomed change as hopefully your salon experience is better with a good cuppa! The menu is limited to Tea, Coffee, Latte, Cappuccino, and water. All drinks still need to be served in a disposable cup though, please can you take the cup away with you after your appointment.
We are still trialling clients in between and so far it seems to be running smoothly, however we don’t want to go crazy with this just yet so please still bear in mind that some appointments are limited….. which brings us nicely onto CHRISTMAS!!!!
Christmas slots are getting booked up now so we strongly advise you to go online and check out the appointments available in December and get booked in! We will of course try to accommodate everyone but without sounding like a broken record…..RESTRICTIONS! If you have not yet registered to our online portal, you can do so by clicking here.
All other procedures remain in place like waiting to be invited in at the door when you arrive, washing your hands when you enter the salon, wearing a face mask, bringing as little as possible with you and waiting for reception to be free at the end.
All stylist are still PPE’d up to the eyeballs and now all clients over the age of 11 must wear a face covering when in the salon whilst constant cleaning and sanitising, we really hope everyone feels safe in the salon and if you have any concerns, please let us know so we can reassure you.
Thank you for your continued support and words of encouragement, if you have any questions or would like to give us some feedback on how we are doing and what we can do to improve, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Keep safe and see you soon,
Outshine Team
